Sex and the City II..fashion, manolos, and a cosmopolitain please.
Ladies, it’s time to whip out your Manolos and sexy little black dress once more for cosmos round 2. Sex and the City the sequel is due to come out on May 28, 2010. This series has caused quite an uproar in the dating world, as it elevated more confidence to the daily woman. Instead of being sucked into any man’s vortex of torture they like to call ‘game’, we women learned to “date like a man”. That’s right..think nothing of a serious commitment and just have fun, not in reference to whoring around but a classy decent courtship. Being in a monogamous relationship in the 21st century is a trifling fib to most people and considered suffocating..”painful and unnecessary”. Quite the contrary, I find it the most healthy to expand your horizons in celibacy first until commitment is claimed, yet it really depends on each individuals definition on what is monogamy to them as well as their morals and values. I find an emotional affair far worse than a sexual one. Once the feelings pack up and jet, they’re gone. If and when the guy wants to become serious after they fall for her re-splendid nature, it is up to the woman to decide whether she wants to keep him around, or upgrade over to a better version. It’s like trading in a designer handbag each season. You don’t want to carry the same Louis Vuitton all year round, you want to switch off to Fendi after spring. Many women view Sex and the City religiously, myself included. I’m so so so excited for this movie. It immediately picks up right where the 1st movie left off after Carrie and Big ties the knot. The catty 4 takes on another spin living the luxurious life in the heart of the city. This movie takes place in many of the fabulous spots in NYC, including Bergdorf Goodman, 5th ave shopping district, the finest diners of the city, famous boutiques, hippest shopping spots, and the most upscale clubs for a night out the town. Again, I am so pumped for this movie and plan to go with my girls the first night it releases. So to all you power hungry male egoists out there, be prepared for your ladie’s inner rebellion to shine through once more…cheers!
